About Distroproof

Distroproof is being built to answer one question before your users have to: does this package work on the Linux systems people actually run?

Software that works on one Linux distribution can fail on another because of a different C library, a missing shared library or another CPU architecture. These failures tend to reach maintainers as bug reports from users, long after the release.

Distroproof will run your package on clean Linux systems and give you one report showing where it fails, why, and how to fix it. The product is in development and is not available yet.

Distroproof is developed by Burncode LLC. Until it launches, the guides cover the most common distribution errors and how to fix them.
